Abstract
In this paper we propose an approach to the approximation for a system of first order linear Volterra integro-ordinary differential equations LVIODES. In this approach, B-spline basis functions which is dependent on control parameters is first formulated using matrix equations. We then focus on the two features of the B-spline functions, convergence and stability. Numerical results, including the solution of LVIODEs show the effectiveness that can be achieved using the proposed formula of the B-spline functions.
