Consent to Participate
For all research involving human subjects, freely given, informed consent to participate in the study must be obtained from participants (or their parents or legal guardians in the case of children under 16). A statement to this effect should be included in the manuscript.
Example statements:

Consent to Publish
Individuals may consent to participate in a study, but they might object to having their data published in a journal article. If your manuscript contains any individual person's data in any form (including any individual details, images, or videos), consent for publication must be obtained from that person or, in the case of children, their parents or legal guardians. This is particularly applicable to case studies. A statement confirming that consent to publish has been received from all participants should be included in the manuscript.
Example statement:
"The authors affirm that human research participants provided informed consent for publication of the images in Figure(s) 1a and 1c."
For additional help with completing this information, please refer to the section on "Informed Consent."

We will do our best to get your article published quickly and accurately. Therefore, it is important to ensure that all of your corrections are sent back in one communication within 48 hours. Proofreading is solely your responsibility. Note that the publisher may proceed with the publication of an article if no response is received.
Revised Manuscripts
After revising your manuscript (MS), upload the following files:
- Revised MS highlighting the changes that you made.
- Clean copy of the revised MS.

After Acceptance
The journal will send the MS to production to complete the typesetting step. Then you will receive the proof.
Peer Review
Baghdad Science Journal operates a (Double–blind peer review) policy involving 2 external reviewers. Authors may suggest potential reviewers if they wish; however, the decision to consider these reviewers is at the editor’s discretion. Authors who wish to suggest peer reviewers can do so in the cover letter and should provide institutional email addresses where possible or information that will help the Editor verify and identify the potential introduced reviewers (for example, an ORCID or Scopus ID). Authors may request the exclusion of individuals as peer reviewers, but they should explain the reasons in their cover letter on submission. Authors should not exclude too many individuals, as this may hinder the peer review process. Please note that the editor may choose to invite excluded peer reviewers. Intentionally falsifying information, for example, suggesting reviewers with a false name or email address, will result in rejection of the manuscript and may lead to further investigation in line with our misconduct policy.
Ethical Guidelines
Any study on human or animal subjects must observe and follow ethical guidelines. For any experiments on humans, all work must be conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki (1964). If manuscripts include any experimental work that describes and carries a risk of harm to human subjects, a manuscript must contain a statement that the experiment was conducted with the human subjects’ understanding and consent, as well as a statement that the responsible Ethical Committee has approved the experiments. The authors will be required to submit an Ethics Approval and Consent form. In the case of any animal experiments, the authors must provide a full description of any anesthetic or surgical procedure used, as well as evidence that all possible steps were taken to avoid animal suffering at each stage of the experiment alongside an Animal Welfare Statement.
Supplementary Materials
Any supplementary material published online alongside the manuscript should be included (figure, tables, video, spreadsheets, etc.). Please indicate the name and title of each element as follows: Figure S1: title, Table S1: title, etc.
